PERRY-After an extended illness, John Robert "Bo" Arnall, M.D. died on Friday, December 25, 2015, in Perry. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Perry Presbyterian Church where he was Elder Emeritus. Reverend Parker Agnew will officiate. The burial will be private. The family will greet friends on Sunday, December 27, 2015, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Perry Presbyterian Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 574, Perry, GA 31069.Bo was born on July 19, 1930, in Fayette County, Georgia, to the late Lorene Askew Arnall and the late Robert Herman Arnall. After graduation from Emory University, he attended the Medical College of Georgia, graduating in 1956. He completed his residency in Family Practice at the Medical Center of Central Georgia and then served in the United States Navy for two years. He practiced medicine in Perry for twenty-five years and then worked in Occupational Medicine at Robins Air Force Base until his retirement in 1996. He was privileged to be a Torch Bearer in the 1996 Olympics. He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Becky Mowell Arnall.Bo is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Sue; his daughters, Susan Henderson (Al) and Ann McCarley (Ken); his sons, John Arnall (Melanie), David Arnall, Philip Arnall (Lydia), and Mark Arnall (Tiffany); and eighteen grandchildren.Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
