Joe Henry McLendon's Obituary
Joe Henry McLendon, born March 17, 1949 in Leakesville, Ms., age 67, a resident of Mobile, AL., passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016. After enjoying a morning visit with his devoted daughter, Brandi Ackerman. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Doyle and Lucy McLendon and brother, Doyle L. McLendon Jr. He is survived by his wife, Diane Renee Sanford McLendon, two daughters, Brandi Ackerman (Russ), Daphne, Al., JoAnn Augustine (Dan), Pennsylvania. Two step children, Lauren Sanford and Jason Reynolds. Two sisters, Karen Mohr (Ken) and Deborah Richardson Fischer (Kevin). Seven grandchildren, Kyle, Dylan, Gamble, Mikayla, Pyper, Jeffrey and Tyler, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 5 pm until 7 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at Serenity on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 12 noon. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
