JoAnne Crowe Sanders, 78, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 5, 2014,
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Marshallville Baptist Church with entombment in the Marshallville Cemetery. Rev. Charles Carter will officiate. A visitation will be held from 5 - 7 p.m. Sunday at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home
Mrs. Sanders was born in Irwin County and was the daughter of the late Jesse Lewis and Mildred Cavanaugh Crowe. She was retired from Wells Fargo.
A member of Marshallville First Baptist Church, she taught Sunday School, was involved with prayer meeting and girl's auxiliary leadership.
Things that she loved the most were her church family, family, and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Robert C. Sanders, Jr.; children, Randal Lee Sanders (Karen), Peggy Sanders Baker, and David Scott Sanders (Debby); siblings, Annelle Crowe Beavers, Jimmy Crowe (June) and Jackie Crowe Klein; six grandchildren, Spencer Sanders, Jared Sanders (Lizzie), Shea Sanders Dooley (Wes), Nicholas Baker, Natalie Sanders, and Katelyn Sanders; great grandchildren, Aidin, Ella Brooks, and Lane.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Lannelle Crowe Law and Edwina Crowe Hobbs.
