PERRY, GA - James Norman “Jim” Geiger passed peacefully on Monday, January 5, 2026, with his loving wife by his side. He was 93 years young. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Perry Methodist Chu Read Obituary

Nancy, sending you much love. I just heard that your dad had passed. So many wonderful memories of him and your mom! From when you and John were childhood neighbors, through the decades. Your parents were so kind to my parents. Your dad loved my cousin Lynn Lawson, and through Matt Marshall, I kept in touch with your mom and dad. Such a fine, community minded human. RIP, Jim.
I am so thankful for the years I got to spend with “Dad”. He welcomed me in the family with open arms. He always had a funny story to tell and a hug. His laughter was contagious. He always encouraged me in my professional pursuit. I am thankful for the wisdom he always shared. Rest in Peace Sir. Please give John one of those big hugs for me.
Sheri and I have so many memories of wonderful evenings spent with Jim and Paula at their home and at the club! Such a wonderful friend and a kind, smart man with a generous heart and soul! We will miss you greatly my dear friend as will so many others! ❤️

I am so sorry for your loss of Mr. Jim....He was a special man in our church, our community, and in our IHS Sunday School Class. I always enjoyed seeing you both in Sunday School, and he was always so sweet and kind, and complimented me on my teaching in Sunday School. Perry has lost a fine man.... in our community and in our church. Many prayers for all of your family. Treasure all of those precious memories.....
