JESSE H. LEE's Obituary
PERRY-
Jesse Hilton Lee, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 82 years of age. The family invites you to a visitation on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Reverend Dexter Cornelius at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry, Georgia. After the service, family and friends are welcome to join the family at Perry Memorial Gardens for interment. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association online at https://www.alz.org or the Franklin Graham Ministry Samaritan’s Purse, P.O. Box 3000 Borne, NC 28607.
Jesse was born in Albany, GA on June 10,1943 to Jesse Hilton Lee, Sr and Doris Meredith Lee. He was a devout Christian who shared his faith with others throughout his life.
Jesse’s passions were model trains, GA Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves. Jesse’s penchant for electronics led him to pursue a degree in Engineering from Mercer Universitywhere he received the Electronic Engineering Degreewhich led him to his career at Robins AFB. His expertise and skill made him a much sought after and respected figure in his field.
Jesse was predeceased by his parents, his wife of 27 years Deloris Hood Lee, infant brother Larry Lee and his grandson Jimmy Chavis.
Left to cherish the memories that were made with Jesse are his wife of 13 years, Linda Taylor Lee; his children Greg Lee (Kim) of Fort Valley, Gary Lee (Michelle) of Centerville, Terry Lee (Pat) of Bonaire, Tammi Lee Chavis of Warner Robins, and Jennifer Lee Dover of Warner Robins; his step-children Gail Reid (Chuck) of Salem, Illinois, and Jimmy Shemwell (Tina) of Louisville, Kentucky; 16 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
