JEROMY WAYNE HAGAN's Obituary
COTTONWOOD, AL –
Jeromy Wayne Hagan, 48, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 14, 2024. Services will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., and the funeral will begin at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church Cemetery immediately following the service.
Jeromy grew up in the greater Atlanta area and graduated from Redan High School in Stone Mountain in the Class of 1994. He received a degree in Management Specialists from Georgia Piedmont Technical College. Jeromy proudly served our country in the U.S. Marines for four years, during which time he was deployed to Japan. Soon after his return to civilian life, he joined the U.S. Air Force to continue serving our country, which he did for the following sixteen years. During the years in the Air Force, he worked in North Dakota, New Mexico, and Alabama, as a recruiter most of the time. Jeromy retired after twenty courageous years with the Federal Government. Jeromy raised his sons to love the Lord, respect our country, and honor the men and women serving in the military. Throughout his life, Jeromy attended Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church with his parents. He was loved by his family and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Jeromy was preceded in death by his father, James Edward “Jimmy” Hagan, Sr.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Jeromy are his beloved sons, Charles Hagan and Jacob Hagan, both of Cottonwood, Alabama; his mother, Janice Horne of Perry; his brothers, James “Jamie” Hagan, Jr. (Kerri) of Sparta, and Lee Hagan of California; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
