May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
We extend our sympathy and prayers to the family. We grew up on the Gunn Farm and always admired Jeanette and Otis as a thoughtful and caring couple! She was always smiling and gracious. May her memory forever live. Children of the late Eugene (Buddy) and Evelyn Stubbs.
Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
I have many fond memories of the time that I spent with Aunt Jeannette at the farm in Perry, the villa at Hilton Head and shopping in Atlanta. However, what I remember most is how she taught me the graces of a southern lady. I can remember, like yesterday, her reminding me to powder my nose and check my lipstick before I walked out the door. Although I may not use the pieces of my silver place setting on a regular basis, I don't think I will ever be able to wear white after Labor Day and I will certainly think twice before wearing black to a wedding. Your southern charms will live on in your nieces.
Mrs Gunn was a dear. My prayers go out to the family.
I met Jeanette about 2002 when she and I were members of a "grief" group @ Mulberry. She was always such a delight, most attractive and quite witty. My deepest condolences go to all the Gunn family with the lost of this lovely lady.
