Jason Jon Bystrak's Obituary
Jason Jon Bystrak of Mobile, Alabama passed away unexpectedly on September 26, 2015 at the age of 42. Jason was born on August 31, 1973 and was a 1992 graduate of Baker High School. Jason never met a stranger and had a kind and caring spirit. He loved fishing from a young age and grew to be an avid bass fisherman. He most enjoyed doing the things that he loved with his son Jayden, whom he lovingly referred to as “Jay-Boy”. Jason was also a skilled craftsman who was meticulous, always striving for perfection in his work. He took deep pride in this craftsmanship and his work can be found in homes and businesses in both Baldwin and Mobile County. Jason is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Edward Burton Emanuel, and his paternal grandfather, Rudolph Luis Bystrak. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Christina Hager Bystrak, their sons Jayden (Jay-Boy) Bystrak and Christopher Hager, parents Rudolph and Linda Bystrak, maternal grandmother Julia Emanuel, paternal grandmother Barbara Bystrak, sister Ashley Bystrak McMahan (Brian McMahan), niece/nephews Whitney McMahan, Hayden McMahan, and Brandon McMahan, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and additionally by Tom Ellison who Jason was blessed to have as a true and lifelong friend until the end, and finally by his loyal dog Woodrow. Services will be held at Serenity Gardens and Chapel at 8691 Old Pascagoula Road Mobile, AL. on Wednesday September 30 with visitation 1pm-2pm and graveside service at 2pm. Fellowship will follow the service at Oak Road Missionary Church on Sollie Road.
