Life Legacy
HAYNESVILLE-Janice Lynn Lord Oliver, 62, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2017. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 28, 2017, from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry with the Funeral Service beginning at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. Jan was born in Dudley to the late Delacy Lord and the late Ruby Darsey Lord. She grew up in Dudley and lived there most of her life. She had lived in Houston County for the past 10. Jan was a server at Cracker Barrel in Dublin, loved her job, and enjoyed visiting with the people she served. She loved her grandchildren and cherished the moments she spent with her family. Jan had a green thumb and enjoyed working in her yard, and enjoyed cooking. She was a member of Dudley Baptist Church. Jan was preceded in death by her parents; her infant daughter, Cerise Lord; infant son, Luc Whipple; and her siblings, Van Austin, Ted Austin, and Otis Lord.Survivors include her husband, Donald Oliver; her daughters, Amie Hall (John) and Adria Whipple; her grandchildren, Dylan Hall, Taylor Hall, and Jaedyn Edwards; her siblings, Venita Smith (Charlie), Kay Bush, Robin Davis (Van), and Tim Lord; her step-mother, Nadine Miller; and many nieces and nephews.Please sign the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com.
