I was so saddened to see Miss Jan Lollis's name here today. We were often guests in the Lollis's home for lots of spend-the-night parties. My sister Valerie and I were there often. Miss Jan and my mother, Joyce Jones were friends too. As time went by, Miss Jan attended the St. Christopher's Episcopal Church and she became one of my Godparents. She was always a light for Christ and her spirit in her voice and music were a gift to behold. We lost touch after she moved away from Perry, but my thoughts have been with her many times. One Day At A Time is all He asks of me. Beautiful lady.
