Janette Moon Lay Wright, 87, passed away on February 6, 2022. Mrs. Wright was the daughter of James Thomas Moon and Allie Beck Piper Moon. She was born in Conyers, Georgia and moved here in 1985 from Decatur, Georgia. Mrs. Wright was a member of Glenn Haven Baptist Church in McDonough, Georgia and attended First Baptist Church in Perry. She spent her years as a homemaker and left to cherish her memory are her children; Teresa Ann Lay Murphy of Loganville, Walter C. Lay (Teddi) of Mansfield, Georgia; James Thomas Lay of Perry; her three grandchildren; Sean Murphy, Heather Murphy, and Jacquelline Morgan, three great grandchildren; Alex, Addison, Isabella and Matthew and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John W. Wright, along with two brothers and five sisters.
Services will be held at a later date.
