Janette Calhoun Ferguson's Obituary
Perry, GA
Janette Calhoun Ferguson, 75, passed away on Christmas Day in Savannah, Georgia, where she had been near her daughter, Kerri Shaw. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at Watson - Hunt Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Perry Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 1 pm - 2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
Janette was born in Cordele and was the daughter of the late Paul Calhoun and Gaynell B Calhoun.
She was a CNA for years and was a volunteer for Family Services ( a military organization).
Janette had lived in Perry most of her life and was a member of Crossroads UMC.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Kerri McClure Shaw of Hardeeville, SC and Donald Russell McClure, Jr. of Alpharetta,GA; grandchildren, Emily Ann Farnham and Dylan Russell McClure; siblings, J.D. Calhoun of Cartersville and Randy Calhoun of Ft. Valley. She was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Kent Calhoun.
