Janet Neiman ''Nanny'' Rowley's Obituary
PERRY-
Janet Neiman Rowley, 83, passed away on August 15, 2014. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 18, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Central Georgia Cancer Care, 114 Sutherlin Drive, C-1, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
Mrs. Rowley was born in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, to the late William and Della Brown Neiman. She had lived in Perry since 1983. A homemaker all of her life, she enjoyed cooking and spent a great deal of time cooking for others. From her children to her grandchildren to her precious neighbors, she cherished the relationships she had with each and every one and enjoyed taking care of them all when she could. She was a grandmother to everyone, and they all called her "Nanny", even those who weren't blood related. Nanny was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas "Pop" Rowley; her brother, William Neiman; her sister, Gail Snyder; and 2 grandchildren, Alexis Christie and Stephen Christie.
Left to cherish the precious memories of Nanny are her children, Mark Rowley (Sharon) of Perry, April Christie (Pete) of Orlando, FL, Patricia Seale (David) of Ft. Valley, and Ted Rowley of Perry; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to leave condolences for the family in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
