JANELL PARKER MOLTON's Obituary
PERRY -
Janell Molton, 81, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2022. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the charity of your choice in Janell’s honor.
Janell was born to Jessey Willard Parker and Lelia Vinson Parker on April 30, 1941. She graduated from Perry High School and began working for the Houston County Board of Education as a nutrition worker. Most recently, she worked in the Matt Arthur Elementary School as a lunchroom cashier. Janell married Robert Cleveland Molton and grew her family in Perry. She loved to spend time with her children whether it was at a family dinner or just a casual conversation in the living room. Later in life, Janell loved to decorate for Halloween and watch Mandalorian with her son Robert. Her sons remember her as a strong, loving mother who was always proud to lead her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband of 54 years, Bob Molton.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Janell are her sons Robbie Molton of Daytona Beach, Florida; Randall Molton (Denise) of Byron, Georgia; and Robert Molton of Perry, Georgia; and her sister, Gale Lafayette of Austin, Texas.
Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
