James 'Jimmy' Singleton's Obituary

James "Jimmy" Singleton, 49, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 6, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 10 at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home with interment in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Bleckley County. A visitation will be held 6:30 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to American Lung Association, 2452 Spring Road, Smyrna, Georgia 30080. Jimmy was a lifelong resident of Houston County and was the son of the late James D. and Sybil Singleton.
Jimmy was a simple man who was a devoted husband who loved his family very much. He was a devoted employee for Singleton Towing Service and one of his loves was driving a tow truck, as well as driving four wheelers.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sandra Wilson Singleton of Elko; children, Doug Singleton o Ideal, Wendy Younts (Steve) of Florahome, Florida, James Singleton and Richard Singleton, both of Elko; siblings, Leroy Singleton (Gail) of Perry and Mae Mullis (Jerry) of Kathleen; grandchildren, Rebecca, D. J., Abby, and Gaston.
