Rodney was a 1965 graduate of Perry High School. He was a machinist at Continental Can and also enjoyed farming. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Warner Robins. A cowboy at heart, Rodney loved bringing humor to everyone he met. In fact, he "lit up the room" whenever he walked in. He was loyal to his family and the counties that he loved so dear (Peach and Taylor). People that knew Rodney knew he had a heart of gold and was a real giver. A true hero, he would always lend a helping hand to anyone in need. "There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends." John 15:13
Left to cherish the memories of Rodney are his loving children, Tammy Knowland (Neal Fairchild) of Marshallville, Jimmy Shehee (Stacy) of Kathleen, Jessica Shehee of Warner Robins, Maranda Shehee of Perry, and Uriah Shehee of Byron; and thirteen grandchilden. He was preceded in death by his brother, Allen Shehee.
Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
