James Burrell McLemore Sr.'s Obituary
Age 68, a lifelong resident of Dauphin Island Alabama passed away Monday June 13th 2016. Burrell passed away in his sleep during an extended hospital stay. Burrell graduated from Davison High school, worked two years at the Pac-A-Sak store on Dauphin Island prior to working for Pete Patronas at Dauphin Island Sanitation. Burrell assumed the role of owner/operator of Dauphin Island Sanitation for 34 years retiring from Waste Management. Burrell was an avid car and motor cycle enthusiast from box car Chevy’s to Corvettes and late model café style motor cycles to his favorite Harley Davidson. Burrell was married to Imelda Patronas McLemore on September 10th 1966 residing on Dauphin Island, AL. Survivors of his are wife Imelda, four children; Ashley B Pitts, Tiffany M McLemore, James B McLemore, JR (Mac), Peter B McLemore, nine grandchildren; Lindsey, Sigourney, Jordan, Ariel, James, Daniel, Isabella Ann, Bryce, Kyndall, to include 6 great grandchildren and, 2 brothers and 2 sisters; Russell, Charles, Ina, Carolyn and other family members to include aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded by his parents John McLemore "Mack", Audrey McLemore, brother Lonnie McLemore, brother in-law Philip Patronas, and great grandchild Cullen Strachan. Visitation will be held at the St. Edmund by the Sea Catholic Church on Dauphin Island, AL (827 Cadillac Ave) on Monday, June 20, 2016 from 5 pm until 8 pm. The Funeral service will be held at the church on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 11 am. Interment will be in the Catholic Cemetery on Dauphin Island.
