PerryJames Herbert "Herb" Potts, 91, passed away on Friday at his residence with his loving family by his side. Funeral Services will be held at noon on Monday at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home with interment at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Dooly County with military honors. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - noon Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Crosspoint Baptist Church or Homestead Hospice.Mr. Potts was born in Dooly County and was the son of the late James Wesley and Eula Veartrice Burks Potts.A member of Crosspoint Baptist Church, Mr. Potts was retired a Manager of Rhodes Furniture Company. He was proud to have been a veteran of the United States Army during World War II. He enjoyed golf, hunting, and fishing.Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, June Brown Potts, of Perry; children, JIm Potts (Genie) of Mt.
