James Graham's Obituary
FT VALLEY-
James Graham, Jr., PO2, USN, (ret), 65, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015. Funeral Services will be held on September 11, 2015, at 12 noon at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry with interment following in Andersonville National Cemetery with full military honors. A visitation will be on Thursday, September 10, 2015, from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to the Haynesville Church of God, 313 Pitts Road, Hawkinsville, Georgia.
Mr. Graham was born in Denham Springs, LA, and was the son of the late James Graham and Donnie Warden Graham. He had lived in Houston and Peach counties for most of his life. A US Army veteran of Viet Nam, he then joined the US Navy and retired. He served all over the world and worked on tomahawk missiles. After retirement, he worked for the city of Perry. As a member of Haynesville Church of God, he did mission work, was active in nearly all church activities, and was a pillow in the church. He was also a member of the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Faye Whatley and Lanny Graham.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Letty Graham of Ft. Valley; childen, Vicki Childress of Perry, Kathy Graham of Kentucky, Jamie Howell (Chris) of Perry, and Ruel Cabrera (Margot) of Warner Robins; one sister, Marilyn Graham of Louisiana; and ten grandchildren.
