James Luther Early's Obituary
James Luther Early was born in Brazil, IN on September 18, 1921 and passed at his residence in Dauphin Island, AL on September 1, 2014 at the age of 92. A veteran, he served in the U.S. Army before later becoming a school administrator. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Mary A. Early, and his son, Joseph W. Early. He is survived by his daughter Anne (Jim) Heffernan, his son Gene R. (Amanda) Early, 4 grandchildren, Eric Woodard, Kurt Woodard, Kristin Groves, and Julie Bellard, 8 great-grandchildren, and numerous other friends. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 5, 2014 at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Dauphin Island, AL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Francis Episcopal Church Organ Fund.
