James Douglas Deaton, Sr., age 58, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at a local hospital. He is survived by his children, James Douglas Deaton, Jr., Marshall Deaton, Matthew Wolfe, brother, Stephen Deaton, sister, Jamie Ray Loper, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 12 noon in Serenity Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 to 12 noon at Serenity Funeral Home. Arrangements under the direction of Serenity Funeral Home, Theodore, AL.
