Life Legacy
Mr. James William Clay, 52, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 24, 2016. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. in Parkway Memorial Gardens in Warner Robins. The family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Watson-Hunt Funeral Home.James was born on April 4, 1963, to James M. Clay and the late Mildred Watts Clay in Harrisburg, PA. He was formerly employed by Anchor Glass Container, for over 20 years where he retired as a Crew Leader/ furnace tender which included management with direction of 20 personnel. James was a graduate of Northside High School in Warner Robins. He was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church and The Refuge. James was an active bowler and very active in the outdoors where he enjoyed fishing. He loved sports with a passion and was a proud fan of the Northside Eagles, Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, and the Georgia Bulldogs. He was a Godly man, loving father and friend. James was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie Clay.James will be dearly missed by his family, including his father, James Marion Clay; his daughter, Laura Clay, and her fiancée, Mike McLeod; his daughter, Amanda Sims; his son, Chris (Sharlie) Clay; his aunts and uncles, Ron and Diane Barker and Steve and Martha Clay; four grandchildren; and one grandchild on the way.Please sign the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com.
