She was one of my best friends. I will miss her so much, but have the best memories ever. ❤️❤️❤️
"Do Well. And do your own work."
Mrs. Marshall used those words of encouragement and positive admonition when passing out exams. She was an excellent and inspiring teacher, but her message of self-reliance in learning was a fundamental that shaped my life. She truly wanted us to "do well", and that meant meeting a challenge. I think that is something all of her many students would agree that she delivered.
She was truly a gift to all of us who were lucky enough to be her students and later friends, and I pray that Daun, Laurie, Tonda and families find comfort in knowing she lives on in the hearts and minds of many.
Mrs. Marshall was my favorite teacher of all time. And I always assumed I must have been her favorite student, as well! Such was the love she poured into each and every person that had the privilege to pass through her doors. But more than a wonderful teacher, she was my mentor and my friend.
In God's kingdom economy, we are known for our fruit. Who better conveyed the spiritual blessings of love, peace, JOY, patience (a plenty), kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, goodness and self-control than Mrs. M? No doubt there is great rejoicing in heaven where our beloved surely heard the words, "Well done good and faithful servant".
Miss Jackie was a delight to know. I got to see her at Summerhill when I would visit my mother-in-law. She always had a smile on her face and a book in her hand. We would always have a short conversation. She seemed to be happy no matter what!! Love and prayers for your family!
If I had to pick the teacher who made the most impact on my life it would certainly be Mrs. Marshall. Besides being a wonderful and inspiring teacher, she was a wise, loving, giving, and godly woman. It was her influence that helped me choose nursing as my profession and I’ve had a long and rewarding career. She was a blessing to me and countless others and I’m so thankful to have known her. Prayers for comfort and peace for her family.
It is impossible to know the number of people Jackie Marshall influenced. I am just happy my sons were exposed to the vastness of her intellect and the kindness of her spirit. She was sadly one of a rare breed, The world needs more Jackies. - Jackie and Terry Cooper
One of the most influential people in my life. She always made me feel special in a class full of boys and girls. I always wanted to be like her and love unconditionally. She was so special! Comfort and strength are my prayers for family
