Jackson Lee Pike, 55, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 11, 2014, with his loving wife by his side. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 14, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home.
Born in Macon and raised in Lizella, a true country boy at heart, Lee was a hard working insulator for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing and all other outdoor activities, as well as spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas Pike and Jeannie Lee Haywood Pike; and a sister, Margie Bassett.
Lee was a loving husband to Allison Pike for many years. He was a proud father to his three children, Natalie Ray, Jennie Ray, and Joshua Pike. Lee loved his grandson, Alex Butts, who brought so much joy to his life as his only grandchild. He is also survived by his sister, Dorothy "Dot" Clem (Mike); her brothers, Douglas Pike (Ethel) and Kenneth Pike (Jerre); several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many other great friends.
