MACON-Jackson Spencer Combs, 19, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 3, 2017. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church in Macon. The family will greet friends and celebrate Jackson's life with a reception for one hour in The Cloister Room at the church immediately following the service. A Private Burial will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery in Perry. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Christ Episcopal Church, 582 Walnut Street, Macon, GA 31201 or St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 1207 Macon Road, Perry, GA 31069.Jackson was born in Macon and went to First Presbyterian Day School through 10th grade. He graduated from Howard High School in 2016 and had attended Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. Jackson will always be remembered in the hearts of his loyal "blood brothers," Eion Madden, William Goodwin, and Michael Austin. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joseph Jackson; and his paternal grandparents, Harvey Combs and Marie Combs.Left to cherish the memories of Jackson are his loving and devoted parents, Brian and Deborah Jackson Combs of Macon; his maternal grandmother, Ruby Jackson of Perry; his aunts, Cissy Black of Perry, and Connie Lockerman of Bonaire; his uncles, Allen Combs (Barbara) of Lakeland, Florida, and Gary Combs (Debbie) of Cleveland, Georgia; and several cousins.Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com.
