Jackie Reyna Hammock, 68, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2014. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Second Memorial Baptist Church. Interment will be in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 30, 2014, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. Jackie was born in Macon to the late John Reyna and Leila Williams Hammock. A graduate of Perry High School, he had lived in Perry all of his life. He worked in Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base and retired after 35 years of service. He was a member of Second Memorial Baptist Church. Jackie was an avid golfer, and was a member of Perry Country Club. He was an only child, and he always said he was glad he married a lady with eight sisters and a brother, because they were his family, too. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and spent lots of time visiting with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Reyna Padgett, and his beloved dog, Bossy.
Left to cherish the memories of Jackie are his loving wife of 46 years, Shirley Bodrey Hammock of Perry; his daughter, Wendi Ann Hammock of Los Angeles, California; and his only grandson, Austin Padgett of Perry.
Friends are invited to leave condolences for the family in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
