PERRY – Irene Eason Tuggle, 84, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2024, after an extended illness. Services will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home Read Obituary
Irene was an elegant lady I had the pleasure and honor to teach with at Peach County High School in Fort Valley. We were both members of Delta Kappa Gamma as well. She loved her students and enjoyed teaching. She was my friend, and I will always remember her fondly.
Sincerest condolences in the passing of your beloved wife, mother, grandmother. She is resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus.
Miss Eason was my math teacher at Perry High. She was always prepared and students were taught well. Nothing but fond memories, circa 1961-1962.
