Imogene Lois Lyons TaylorBorn December 5, 1929. Native resident of Bayou La Batre, Alabama. Resident of Irvington, Alabama. Passed away June 5, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents Dennie M. Lyons and Ida L. Lyons; three brothers Jerry, Clarence and Dennie Allen Lyons; one sister Delores Lowery, her husband of 32 years Captain Hoover Taylor; one son Roy W Taylor; one granddaughter and one great granddaughter.She is survived by her five children: Terry (Wanda) Taylor Sr., Sandra (Eddie Ray) Barbour, Tommy (Debbie) Taylor, Judy (David) McGallagher, Woodie (Wanda) Taylor; 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, brother Donald (Betty) Lyons, sister Barbara Morien, sister in laws Linda Lyons, Mary Lyons and Florence Taylor Hagy, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.She will be laid to rest Wednesday, June 8, 2016. Services will be held at Serenity Gardens Funeral Home.Visitation for immediate family from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and visitation for friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Chapel service will be immediately following at Serenity Gardens Chapel. Reverend Terry Taylor Jr will be officiating the service. Interment will be at Odd Fellow Cemetery in Bayou La Batre, Alabama.Go rest high on that mountain Mama until we meet again.
