Hilton Lamar Cole's Obituary
Hilton Lamar Cole, Born July 17, 1922 to the union of Hill Cole and Delphia A. Shaw Cole. He proudly served his Country during World War II and received a Purple Heart and several other medals and awards. He was a farmer in Neshoba County before relocating to the coast where he was faithly employed by International Paper Company in Kreole, Mississippi for 33 years. Dad was preceded in death by his parents Hill and Delphia Cole, a brother, Alton Cole, sister-in-law, Jean Cole, brother –in-laws, Hines Platt and Leo Dearman, sister, Pauline Dearman, sister-in-law Opal Pinter, several nieces and a nephew. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Arwin D. Cole, son, James Michael Cole, daughter, Sheila F.(Mitchell) Poole, son, Ronald Lamar (Anita) Cole, son, Anthony Dewayne (Teresa) Cole, sister, Waudine (Boyd) Williamson, sister, Myrtis L. (Claud) Yates, brother-in-law, Charles Pinter, brother-in-Law, Jimmy (Shirley) Pinter, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 4 great- great- grandchildren, many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held from New Horizon Ministries Church 10501 Hwy 63, Moss Point, MS 39562, on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 12noon with Rev. Anthony Cole, Rev. Mitchell Poole and Rev. Don Edeker officiating. Visitation will be 10 am until service time. Graveside services and interment will follow at 1:45 pm in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
