Hershel Eugene Whitehurst, age 56, a native of Mississippi and a longtime resident of Grand Bay, AL passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Whitehurst, brother, Edward Whitehurst. He is survived by his children, Kevin Whitehurst, Audrea Whitehurst, Curtis Whitehurst, Ashley Whitehurst, grandchildren, Hannah Worsham, Lexie Whitehurst, Kevin Whitehurst Jr., Alex Corn, mother, Ruth Whitehurst, brothers, Charles (Candy) Whitehurst, Larry (Judy) Whitehurst, Jerry Whitehurst, sister, Sandra (Gene) Freeman, mother of his children, Brenda Little, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 2 pm with visitation starting at 1 pm until service time. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
