The legal community has lost one its best. Herb never backed down in his representation. He also was always available to assist to the newly minted attorneys. A true asset to the community. You are going to be missed.

Rosemary and family,
Please accept our deepest condolences. Herb was a friend to both of us. He was always available when I (Becky) would call for collegial advice. He was a fine man and an outstanding attorney. He will be greatly missed.

Herb was a mentor to me when I first established my law practice in Perry. He fearlessly represented clients in contested family law cases, and defendants in criminal cases over many jurisdictions over the years. He earned the respect of judges and attorneys across the state. His work as a judge in the Houston County Juvenile Court was innovative and extensive.
Herb worked hard, and played even harder. He scuba dived in the Caribbean. He shot ducks in Texas, deer in Georgia, and he fished at Lake Panasoffkee in Florida. He was always upbeat and positive. He was my friend, and I wish the best to Rosemary and his family during this sad time.

Rosemary, you and your family are in my prayers and thoughts.
