HENRIETTA CROOK SCARCI's Obituary
PERRY, GEORGIA –
Henrietta Crook Scarci, 101 years of age, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2024. Services will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Kathleen, Georgia. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m., and the Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the services.
Henrietta was born on March 25, 1923, in Pottersville, Taylor County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Henry Robert Crook and the late Eula Mae Cox Crook. During World War II, she was employed with Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins. As a homemaker most of her life, she worked hard to provide and maintain a loving and encouraging environment in which to raise her family. A devout catholic, she was a long-time member of Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Kathleen.
Henrietta was predeceased in death by her sisters, Myrtice Crook Jackson, Lucille Crook Hogan, and Losia Crook Ellison McDaniel; her brothers, James Edward Crook, Hugh Crook, and Henry Earl Crook; and her granddaughter, Michelle Lynn Morrow.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Henrietta are her son, Louis A. Scarci, Jr. of Severna Park, Maryland; her daughters Linda Morrow (Jeffrey) of Byron, and Lisa Hancock (Danny) of Perry; her grandson, Michael Morrow; her granddaughters, Stephanie Scarci, and Kimberly Viruet (Joel); her great-grandchildren, Anniston Morrow, Aubreigh Morrow, Alivia Morrow, James Morrow, and Ava Morrow; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
