Life Legacy
ELKO-Helen Ruth Radabaugh Harrold, 82, formerly of Findlay, Ohio, went home to be with our Lord Jesus on Friday, June 24, 2016. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at Crossroads United Methodist Church. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery will be Private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088. Born March 4, 1934, to the late George Curtis and Ruth Eldora Oman Radabaugh in Benton Ridge, Ohio, Helen grew up in Findlay where she met her husband, Roger, and married at the age of 19. The following year, they moved to Clearwater, Florida, where they lived 42 years. They moved back to Findley to care for their mothers, before relocating to Elko in 2005 to be with their children and grandchildren. Helen graduated from Liberty Benton High School and has since enjoyed many reunions with former classmates. Helen loved the Lord Jesus and her family. She loved her church homes, most recently, Crossroads United Methodist Church in Perry. Helen enjoyed playing the piano, especially with the grandchildren, and was a member of the Duet Club in Perry. She was a devoted Sunday School teacher for many years, and she was part of the Cancer Pad Ministry at First Baptist Church in Perry. Helen retired from Publix in Indian Rocks, Florida, and from Skycrest Christian School in Clearwater, Florida.Helen will be dearly missed by her husband of 63 years, Roger A. Harrold; her daughters, Sheila Gentry (Roy) and Dana Bittner, both of Elko; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; her brother, Howard Radabaugh of Keystone, Florida; her sister, Elaine Marquart (Jay) of Bluffton, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com.
