PERRY, GA-Gustave A. "Gus" Bernhard, Jr., passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2016. All services will be private.Mr. Bernhard was born in Bronx, New York, and was the son of the late Gustave A. and Helen Zeigler Bernhard, Sr. He had resided in Perry since 2007, but had lived most of his life in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. A United State Air Force Veteran, he was retired from Delta Air Lines as an aircraft mechanic. He was a member of Grace Church in Perry, and was a Mason. He was preceded in death by a brother, John B. Bernhard.Left to cherish the memories of Gus are his loving wife of 69 years, Gloria Bernhard of Perry; two sons, Steven Bernhard (Jeannine) of Perry, and Mark Bernhard (Lynn) of Buford, S.C.; his brother, Robert Bernhard of Bronx, New York; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
