Gordon Joseph Fant's Obituary
Gordon “Pete” Fant, age 89, a resident of Mobile, AL passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015. Gordon was a faithful employee at Camper City for 21 years. He coached Little League at Municipal Park for 40 years. He was a United States Veteran of the Navy that served in War World II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Preston Sr. and Elizabeth Fant, brothers, Preston Jr., Gerald Sr., Bernard, Belmont, Richard (Judy) Fant, sister, Mildred Fant Collins. He is survived by his adopted son, Greg Bowden, siblings, Donald Fant and Barbara Fant (Grady) Williams, special nephew, James (Lenita) Fant, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 5 pm until 8 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at Serenity on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 10 am. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
