Gloria Bosarge Ladnier's Obituary
Gloria Anna Bosarge Ladnier died at home surrounded by her family, Saturday in Mobile. She was 81. Gloria worked as a bookkeeper before she retired. She was a member of St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in Mobile. Gloria was born to Percy and Rae Bosarge of Bayou La Batre, AL, and except for a few years in Panama City, Fla, she lived on the Alabama Gulf Coast. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Ladnier, Sr. and her son, Louis Anthony Ladnier. She is survived by two daughters; P. Morgan Gordy ( Julian) of Franklin, TN and Marjorie Ladnier of Mobile, AL and one son; John Edward Ladnier, Jr. (Cindy) of Lebanon, MO; one sister, Kathleen Zirlott; 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in Mobile on Friday, July 22 at 11am. Interment will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Coden, AL at a later date.
