Glenna Faye Starley's Obituary
Faye Selph Starley, 74, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 28, 2018. The family will visit with friends on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted, or if anyone desires, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Faye was a waitress at Waffle House in Perry. She always worked hard to serve her customers with kindness and a smile on her face. She had a huge heart, was a wonderful mother and friend. Faye had so much love to give; she often served as a foster mother to children through the years, mentoring them along their journeys of life. For the past 15 years, Faye has served as caregiver, roommate, and confidant to her cousin, Roberta Lynne. She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Selph; and an infant granddaughter, Torrina Michelle. Survivors include her daughter, Alesia Weaver of Meridian, Mississippi; her mother, Lorraine Phillips of Cordele; her sisters, Anne Walker and Elaine Richardson; her special cousin, Roberta Lynne Hartman of Marshallville; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
