George T. Seabolt, 80, passed away at his residence on Friday, July 1, 2016 with his loving family by his side. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Andersonville National Cemetery with full military honors.
Mr. Seabolt was born in Kannapolis, NC and was the son of the late Wiley H. and Mattie Griffin Seabolt. Serving in the US Air Force for over 20 years, he lived in Maine, Michigan, Louisiana, before moving to this area in 1975. He was also retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base.
Mr. Seabolt was a member of Sandy Valley Baptist Church.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lorene C. Seabolt; children, Tommy L. Seabolt (Rebecca) of Warner Robins, Tamara R. Fountain (Carl) of Perry, and Gregory S. Seabolt of Cordele; sister, Wylene Badenhorst of Newborn, GA; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
