George Taylor's Obituary
George "Doug" Taylor, age 70, a native of Copeland, AL and a longtime resident of Theodore, AL passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2015. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, George A. Taylor and Ada Mae Taylor, and wife of 30 + years, Margaret Diane Taylor. He is survived by his step children, Shane (Brandi) Pettis, Lane (Tina) Pettis, Wayne (Danielle) Matthews, grandchildren, Juilian and Timmy Pettis, Airel and Alyssa Pettis, Kendall, Preston, Caleb and Payton Matthews, great grandchildren, Cohen Pettis and Kyleigh Matthews, brother, Ernie Taylor, sisters, Yvonne Haws, Voncille Vineyard and Rita McCullough, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. A memorial services will be held in the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 2 pm with visitation from 12 noon until service time.
