The Pope family has always been a blessing to our unity. Growing up Mr. Pope was my principal and friend. His leadership made the students and staff at Perry Jr High thrive. Great memories of my tune. Ms. Avalyn know that my prayers are with your family.
He was an awesome man, friend, and educator. Love him, and his family dearly. RIP Mr. Pope until we see you again. Mrs. Pope and Stephanie you all are and will always be in my prayers.
I worked with Mr. Pope at Perry Junior High School in the early 70’s. He was a dedicated educator and cared deeply for his teachers and students. He was one of the first administrators who ever did a master schedule with computers. I am proud to have worked for him at Perry Junior High School. My condolences to his family. He was a good man.
