George Earl Phillips, age 69, a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Casel and Marguerite Phillips, brother, Robert Phillips, grandson, Mason Menrer. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jamie Jones Phillips, children, Julia LaNell Phillips, Maggie Phillips, Chip (Bethany) Phillips, grandchildren, Victoria, Alan, Jessica, Katy, Trey, Destiny, Peyton, Dawson, John Warner, Charlie Anne, great grandchildren, Chandler, Cayden, Carolyn, Trinity, Kaylie, siblings, sister, Karen Phillips Perry, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 2 pm with visitation starting at 12 noon until service time. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
