George Newman Frank, Jr., 80, of Cheyenne, died on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Kindred Transitional Care.
He was born on June 27, 1934 in Canastota, New York.
Mr. Frank served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years before retiring as a Staff Sergeant. He then worked for the BLM as a supply clerk and retired after 15 years.
He never met a stranger, and was a member of the Cheyenne Baptist Temple, Eagles Lodge, Moose Lodge, NCO Club, and loved hunting, fishing, old airplanes, and the Confederate Air Force.
George is survived by his wife, Georgia Ann Frank, whom he met at Parents Without Partners; three sons, Kevin Brookshire (Kimm), and Daniel and Bryan Frank (Celeste); and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Audrey Clark; his parents, George Newman Frank, Sr. and Helen Frank; and his stepmother, Marian Frank.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Perry. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, October 9, at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home
