George Truss Cannon Jr. “Bubba”, age 67, a lifetime resident of Mobile, AL went to join the Lord on Tuesday, June 3, 2014. George was a father, husband, brother, paw paw and friend. He touched the lives of everyone he met with wisdom and his devoted christian heart. He was a kind and giving man devoted to his faith and abiding love for his family. His treasures in life were his children and his grandchildren. George was also a avid lover of Military aircraft and an aviation collector since his childhood, Especially The Blue Angels and SR-71. He will be greatly missed by those he loved most as their father and best friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Truss Cannon Sr. and Jeannie Azzaro. He is survived by his wife, Susan Magruder Cannon, sons, Michael (Julie) Cannon and Bradley (Susie) Ray, daughter, Michelle (Ryan) Miller, sisters, Kathy (Don) Pipkins, Linda (David) Wilton, Lisa (Kenny) Strong, grandsons, Conner Stanley, Logan Stanley, Luke Cannon, Noah Miller, step mother, Evelyn Cannon, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be held from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 12 noon with visitation starting at 10 am until service time. Dr. Charles Brown Senior pastor Government St. Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens. War Eagle Bubba!!!
