Gayle Nelson's Obituary
Gayle Nelson, age 75, a lifelong native of Bayou La Batre, AL passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Florence Lyons, daughter, Angel Nelson, son, Brian Nelson, brother, Terry Lyons. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Melvin Nelson, daughters, Sherry (Richie) Ladnier and Wendy (Gary) Dickerson, son, Rusty (Ann) Nelson, daughter-in-law, Shannon, brother, Michael, sisters, Phyllis, Agnes and Dina, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, special friends, Billy (Gina Beth) Nelson and Donna Previto, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Special thanks to Gala. Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 5 pm until 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 12 noon with visitation starting at 11 am until mass service. Interment will be in Oddfellow Cemetery.
