GAIL LIDDELL's Obituary
BONAIRE –
Gail Morgan Liddell, 82, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 25, 2024. Funeral services will be private.
Gail was born on April 4, 1942, in Columbus, Georgia, to the late Earnest and Winnelle Bell Morgan. She graduated from Jordan High School in Columbus and worked with Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base from where she retired. Throughout her life, she loved walking on the beach, especially at Sanibel, Florida, collecting shells. Gail enjoyed arts and crafts and spent a great deal of time allowing her creativity to shine. Catching butterflies and pressing flowers were some of her favorite activities. Gail’s passion in life, however, was her family. She loved them dearly. She shared a birthday with her great-grandson, which, to her, was the greatest gift of all.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Gayland Morris Liddell; and her loving and devoted husband of over fifty years, William Whitten “Buddy” Liddell, Jr.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Gail are her twins, William “Budd” Liddell, III, of Macon and Carmen Renee Liddell of Bonaire; her grandchildren, Morgan Renee McWhirter of Bonaire and Chad Liddell McWhirter (Brianna) of Perry; her great-grandson, Kaden Liddell McWhirter; and her sister, Sheila Campbell of Phoenix City, AL.
Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
