Fred C. ''Grandpa'' Seago's Obituary
PERRY-
Fred C. Seago, Sr., 90, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Perry. Interment will be in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. Visitation will be on Monday, October 27, 2014, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., the hour preceding the service, in the sanctuary at First Baptist Church of Perry. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to First Baptist Church of Perry, 1105 Main Street, Perry, Georgia 31069.
Mr. Seago was born in Dooly County to the late L. W. and Maggie Draughon Seago. He worked as a Salesman with W. B. Fleming Company and retired after over 30 years of service. Mr. Seago was a member of First Baptist Church of Perry and the Barnabas Sunday School Class. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Left to cherish the memories of Mr. Seago are his loving and devoted wife of 32 years, Betty L. Seago of Perry; his children, Mike Seago of Louisville, KY, Freddie Seago of Perry, Joseph Stewart of Houston, TX, David Stewart (Margaret) of Charleston, SC, Dennis Stewart (Bobbi) of Byron, and Michael Stewart (Tony) of Macon; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
