Frances Rickards' Obituary
Perry, Georgia Frances Williams Rickards was born on March 18, 1926 in Fort Worth, Texas. She lived in Norfolk, Virginia for 35 years and was a resident of Wilmington, North Carolina for 22 years until she moved to Chesapeake, Virginia to be with her son and family and then on to Christ's Sanctified Holy Church home in Perry, Georgia until her death on July 21, 2016. She was Sanctified as a young woman was a member of Christ's Sanctified Holy Church. Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband Elwood Rickards,Jr, her son Donald Rickards, a sister Ruby McCabe and brother Jack Williams.She is survived by her daughter in law Elsie Rickards of Chesapeake, Virginia, 4 granddaughters; Fran Collins and husband Jay, Jana Simons and husband Garland, Dana Rothfuss and husband Todd all of Chesapeake,Virginia, Deanne Collier and husband Kenneth of Virginia Beach, Virginia, 12 great grandchildren, Seth, Wesley, Anna, Grant, Caleb, Logan, Jake, Emily, Ryan, Mia, Sophia and Ashley. She is also survived by special son Raymond Samuels and his wife Sandy of Lexington South Carolina, a brother in law Robert Rickards of Norfolk Virginia and a host of family and friends and brothers and sisters in Christ. A viewing will be held at Christ's Sanctified Holy Church Perry, GA on Saturday July 24, 2016 at 5pm and a funeral on Sunday at 12pm. Condolences may be left for the family at watsonhunt.com
