I have fond memories of spending summers at her house. MaMa was faithful to always write letters to me while I was serving in the Army. Wish we could be there with all the family - God bless you all!

Mrs. Bowen was a wonderful person. She never tried to be something that she wasn't because what she was - was plenty. She was always soft-spoken, kind, saw the good in people, helpful, and positive. She loved to cook and during my childhood I don't think there was ever a day that there wasn't a cake at her house. Another part of my childhood is now gone but she had a huge impact on me and my family. Simply said, God made a masterpiece when he made her.
