Fay Rozar McLeod's Obituary
Fay Rozar McLeod, 91, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Perry. Interment will be in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. The family will visit with friends on Sunday, February 22, 2015, from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m., the hour preceding the service, in the sanctuary at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to First Baptist Church of Perry, House of God Campaign, 1105 Main Street, Perry, Georgia 31069.
Mrs. McLeod was born in Dublin to the late Robert and Betty Buck Rozar. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Perry and the Dorcas Sunday School Class. She enjoyed serving others by cooking and helping those in need, and she helped others in her community to make cancer pads for patients receiving treatment. Mrs. McLeod took delight in playing Bingo at Rozar Park later in life. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years, James R. McLeod, Sr.; and her 2 sisters, Annette Miller and Elizabeth Watson.
Left to cherish the memories of Mrs. McLeod are her children, Bobby G. McLeod (Glenda) of Lake Sinclair, Janie M. Gupton of Perry; Sandra M. Greathouse (Harris) and Jimmy McLeod (Vivian), both of Perry; and David McLeod of Cartersville; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
