Fate Marion Tindle's Obituary
Age 73, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at home. Fate was born in September 22, 1942 in Gilbertown, AL to Wylie O. Tindle Sr. and Annie Ruth Taylor Tindle who preceded him in death along with two brothers, Waymon and Robert Tindle. He graduated from Satsuma High School in 1960 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy serving on Amunition Supply and destroyer tenders (repair ships) in the VietNam War. When he was able, he attended Calvary Assembly of God Church. Fate was devoted to his wife and family and wore the name of the “gentle giant” with a huge heart of gold, filled with goodness. He loved fishing and football and his family and always had a tale to make you laugh. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carrie Clark Tindle, children, Missy Tindle Tourne, Frank C. Tindle and Troy Tindle, step child, Debra Readern, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, siblings, Wylie O. (Mary) Tindle, Thomas Tindle and Gloria Tindle (Gianni) Buzzeo, nieces, nephews, counsins, other relatives and many friends. Funeral service were held at Serenity Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 2 pm with visitation starting at 12 pm until service time. Interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
